黄刚，理学博士，中国科学院特聘核心研究员（二级），中国科学院大学岗位教授，中国科学院大气物理所大气科学人工智能研究中心主任，所学位委员会副主任，博士生导师，国家杰出青年基金获得者(2014)且优秀结题, 国家中青年科技创新领军人才（2016），国家万人计划领军人才（2017），国务院政府特殊津贴获得者。曾获2025年度麒麟科学技术奖（第一），国家气象局“十三五”以来气象科技优秀成果（第一），中国气象学会大气科学基础研究成果奖一等奖（第一）、甘肃省自然科学一等奖（第三），广东省科学技术一等奖（第二），涂长望青年科技奖,赵九章优秀中青年科学奖以及卢嘉锡优秀导师奖等奖励。发表324篇文章，其中236篇SCI，包括Top期刊37篇（22篇NSP及子刊）, SCI影响因子合计1536， SCI总引12266， H指数61，入选美国斯坦福大学"2020-2025全球前 2%顶尖科学家榜单"“气候变化研究领域全球最具影响力的1000位科学家名单”“全球顶尖前10万科学家排名（2022-2024）”“Research.com环境领域Best Scientists in China for 2023-2025”“2024全球前0.05%顶尖科学家终身影响力榜单”以及ESI全球地球科学领域科学家排名前1%高引用科学家目录等。

Professor Gang Huang, Ph.D. in Science, is a Distinguished Core Research Fellow (Tier 2) at the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), a Professor at the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS), Director of the Artificial Intelligence Research Center for Atmospheric Sciences at the Institute of Atmospheric Physics (IAP) of CAS, Deputy Director of the IAP Academic Degree Committee, and Doctoral Supervisor. He is a recipient of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars (2014, concluded with an excellent rating), a National Leading Young and Middle-aged Scientist in Technological Innovation (2016), a leading talent of the National "Ten Thousand Talents Program" (2017), and a recipient of the Special Government Allowance from the State Council.

His awards include the 2025 Qilin Science and Technology Award (First Place), the Outstanding Meteorological Science and Technology Achievement Award since the 13th Five-Year Plan by the China Meteorological Administration (First Place), the First Prize of the Basic Research Achievement Award in Atmospheric Sciences from the Chinese Meteorological Society (First Place), the First Prize of the Gansu Provincial Natural Science Award (Third Place), the First Prize of the Guangdong Provincial Science and Technology Award (Second Place), the Tu Changwang Youth Science and Technology Award, the Zhao Jiuzhang Outstanding Young and Middle-aged Scientist Award, and the Lu Jiaxi Outstanding Mentor Award, among others.

He has published 324 papers, including 236 SCI-indexed papers, 37 of which are in top-tier journals (21 in PNAS, and Nature and Science family journals). The cumulative impact factor of his SCI papers is 1,536, with total SCI citations reaching 12,266 and an H-index of 61. He has been recognized in multiple prestigious rankings, including Stanford University's "World's Top 2% Scientists (2020-2025)," Reuters' "1,000 Most Influential Climate Scientists," "World's Top 100,000 Scientists (2022-2024)," "Research.com Best Scientists in China in Environment (2023-2025)," "World's Top 0.05% Scientists by Lifetime Impact (2024)," and the ESI Top 1% Highly Cited Scientists in Geosciences.
